Join us for the second part of our CDPI Employer Connections series where we will join professionals from Nonprofit organizations as we discuss how colleges can collaborate to engage students within the nonprofit realm, what the future of the nonprofit sector looks like in light of COVID-19, and how career services professionals can best support nonprofit organization needs. This conversation will be a dialogue between attendees and panelists as we discuss: 

  • How do we get more students engaged in the nonprofit realm?

  • How has the nonprofit sector been impacted by COVID-19; What does the future of nonprofits look like in light of COVID-19 as it relates to career opportunities? 

  • How can career services better support and partner with nonprofit employers? 

  • Attendee questions.

The moderator for this session will be Sally Saydshoev who serves as CDPI's Director of Member Services and is the Director of Career Services at IU East.

This event is the second part of a series of three virtual events CDPI is hosting called “Employer Connections”.  The final part of this series will be happening on Friday March 12th from 12pm-1pm where we will be discussing how we can better foster development of career readiness competencies through student-employment and internships.  Registration information coming soon!

This event is free for all CDPI members, and $15 for non-members.  Non-members are welcome to apply for a CDPI membership here.

CDPI is a non-profit organization that has recurring expenses like maintaining the website you are using right now, book-keepers, and grant opportunities for our members.  We rely on membership dues to keep our organization running!

We're excited to host you in Bloomington, Indiana on the beautiful Indiana University Campus, home of the Indiana Hoosiers. 

As you book your trip, don’t forget: Bloomington is on Eastern Daylight Time—in case you are coming from Central Time.  Hotel accommodation fills up quickly, so make your reservation soon!

We’ve reserved a limited number of rooms at the Hyatt Place and Grant Street Inn in downtown Bloomington, a short walk from where the conference is hosted on campus. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

                     


  • Location:Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405
  • Our conference will start in the Georgian Room on the first floor of the IMU (click here for map)
  • Parking: There will be some parking available at the IMU, which is $2.50 per half hour or daily rate of $28. Cash and credit card is accepted. There is also hourly parking available downtown in the Poplars Parking Garage and at the Henderson Garage. More parking information is HERE.
