Join us for a webinar where we will feature four different Indiana employers as we ask them your questions about recruitment in the era of COVID-19.  Panelists will discuss:

  • What has changed in their recruiting practices over the past year as well as what changes they anticipate are here to stay;

  • Recruitment and employment trends they are seeing;

  • Skills gaps employers are reporting among recent college graduates; and

  • How we can bridge gaps between graduates and their first professional position after graduation.

Kelly Friend, CDPI member and the Executive Director for the Office of Career Coaching & Employer Connections at the Ivy Tech South Bend-Elkhart campus, will moderate this panel.

Webinar panelists will include:

  • Kelly Denman, Talent Acquisition Consultant, IU Health

  • Emily Fugate, Senior University Recruitment Specialist, Covance

  • Jamie Mazepa, Human Resources Recruiter, Centier Bank

  • Mickey Raynoha, Human Resources Manager, Mack Tool & Engineering

Additional panelist information will be updated as information becomes available.

This kick-off webinar is part of a series of three virtual events CDPI is hosting called “Employer Connections”.  Two other sessions this spring will be on the following dates--mark you calendars now:

  • Friday February 19th, 12pm-1pm
    • CDPI Employer Connections: A conversation with non-profit executive directors/leaders.

  • Friday March 12th, 12pm-1pm

    • CDPI Employer Connections: How can employer partnerships foster development of career readiness competencies?

This event is free for all CDPI members, and $15 for non-members.  Non-members are welcome to apply for a CDPI membership here.

Why do we charge for events?

CDPI is a non-profit organization that has recurring expenses like maintaining the website you are using right now, book-keepers, and grant opportunities for our members.  We rely on membership dues to keep our organization running!
