Join us for this FREE Facebook Live chat with Jan Van Dyke and Amanda Zhao from the Indiana University Career Development Center for tips to serve your international student population.

Jan Van Dyke is a long-time career services professional, specializing in international students at Indiana University. Amanda Zhao is new to Indiana University and career development. She is also a past international student herself and will share her experiences as a job seeker in the US.

Bring all questions or comments to be shared with the group in the open forum. We're looking forward to seeing you online!

  1. Log in to your personal or career services office Facebook page to "Like" the CDPI Facebook page here.
  2. Log in and go to the CDPI Facebook page at the time of the webinar.
  3. The Facebook Live video will be streaming on the wall - if you don't see it, try refreshing the page.
  4. If you are having trouble hearing, try maximizing the video so it is bigger.
  5. Post comments on the video in order to ask questions.
  6. Feel free to "Like" or add emoticons during Facebook Live!

We're excited to host you in Bloomington, Indiana on the beautiful Indiana University Campus, home of the Indiana Hoosiers. 

As you book your trip, don’t forget: Bloomington is on Eastern Daylight Time—in case you are coming from Central Time.  Hotel accommodation fills up quickly, so make your reservation soon!

We’ve reserved a limited number of rooms at the Hyatt Place and Grant Street Inn in downtown Bloomington, a short walk from where the conference is hosted on campus. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

                     


  • Location:Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405
  • Our conference will start in the Georgian Room on the first floor of the IMU (click here for map)
  • Parking: There will be some parking available at the IMU, which is $2.50 per half hour or daily rate of $28. Cash and credit card is accepted. There is also hourly parking available downtown in the Poplars Parking Garage and at the Henderson Garage. More parking information is HERE.
